My mother just left today to go to Israel for 2 weeks. She is staying with friends in Tel Aviv. She has been before and says it is beautiful... she saw camels walking across the road like we see deer in the US. Sorry, don't know what to tell you on places to stay, but don't listen to the guy who said West Bank... stay away from teh West Bank.

I've not heard of ' israel ' is it in Palestine, in that case stay in West Bank very very very very cheap hotels, friendly people, excellent food, plenty of history. About people saying unsafe, untrue, I've been and returned to talk about it! can't be that unsafe.
