He would believe in them just to be on the safe side. Wouldn't want to be sent to chocolate chip hell for not believing. What an asskisser.

You know, I believe in potato chips, wood chips, and computer chips but there really is nothing like a chocolate chip.
Chocolate--the taste for the taste buds.
Great--now my dinner is spoiled because I am going to get some chocolate.....

If he knew about chocolate chips, you know he believed in them, if he liked them.

I don't believe in them but they keep showing up in my ice cream anyway.

Leaving you with "Pascal's Wager":

1) Believe in God. If you're right, you win; if you're wrong, you lose, but not much because you won't know you lost.
2) Not believe in God; if you're right, you win. But if you're wrong, you lose . . . and lose BIG.

Thus, it is worth all of your time and effort to be sure that you have the right God. (Hint: it's not yourself.)
