You don't think that Christians own science books? Think again. I probably own more than many atheists do. I have Origin of Species (which I'm reading for the third time; haven't read it since high school), Carl Sagan's Universe, several science textbooks (both college AND high school level), plus MANY books on philosophy (which is sort of a science), and several books on psychology.
Quit assuming that creationists aren't educated. That just is not true.

No one got it right yet. Don't think for a moment, we are right and they are wrong. The truth is still out there. Please keep an open mind. Remember, science supposed to reproduce same results when the conditions are right in a any given problem. If that's how you prove a theory, than explain how life emerged? It takes 10000 amino acids to form a simple protein called collagen. We still don't know why or how those amino acids line-up in perfect sequence to produce that protein. Nature doesn't reveal her mysteries once and for all.

It's not that they are incapable of understanding it, it's that they refuse to even try.
That's just one of the detrimental side effects of religion.
