You might have a virus. Download anti-virus software for Windows XP.

The Ubuntu 2.6.x kernels seem to be plagued by a ton of file system and wireless mouse and keyboard issues that cause the systems to crash. You may want to downgrade Ubuntu to a previous version to avoid the current crash problems.

Or you may want to go with Linspire instead. Linspire is now based on Ubuntu, but it is much more stable.

Is there any specific task that always freezes your PC within Ubuntu? Any errors? Has this just started? Any new changes?

More specifics :)

what i did is, got a botle of air. (you can get it at Walmart for like 2 bucks) and you blow out the bad stuff from inside.
