That all depends. Was it a felony? Did it go on your permanent record?
The best thing to do is go down to the US Embassy. Apply for a visa and you will have your answer. If you are from one of the countries where you do not have to get a visa to visit America for your holiday, I would still go down to the embassy and inquire before making any plans.

sure it's possible. Just fly to Mexico and you can walk over the boarder. They won't check your record unless you come in legally.
