what exercises help the:

1. butt area, to become...well, noiticable
2. thighs to slim
3. tummy to thin (I've heard that sits ups and crunches are bad if one already has a gut b/c doing them only makes one's gut bigger, is this true?)
4. tone upperarms and biceps

To obtain a bigger butt or more shapely and firm one—simply means working those butt muscles more, a lot of people don’t realize how easy that is! While you can just do stairs I recommend you do a full rounded workout routine specifically for you butt! Try out this Great Butt Workout:

You still must loose fat in all those areas and that does take cardio. So cardio is a must. But while you tone you can loose inches and look great!
Check out the other workout routines at that site to work on all the parts of your body

Hi
Whilst I don't think that there are any exercises that target a specific area of the body I would thoroughly recommend gym classes such as body pump and spinning. Body pump is a fun class which targets most muscle groups - the legs, chest, biceps, triceps, shoulders and back and the stomach. Spinning for me also incorporates the much needed cardio exercise. My body shape has changed dramatically in the year Ive been doing these classes and I'm much firmer. All the areas you wish to work on have toned up on me.

to build a butt.. walk or run on the treadmill at the highest incline it will go to.
running and cardio are unfortunately the only ways to slim down (diet also!)
but do sit ups and leg and arm excersises with low weight and high reps to tone but not build muscle.
