Human hair seems to grow at a pretty consistent rate of about half a millimeter or so per day, or about half an inch every month. It may grow faster or slower depending on your age, your genetics and your hormonal state (pregnancy seems to have an affect on hair), but half a millimeter per day is a good average.

What this means is that the maximum growth rate for hair is about 6 inches (15 cm) per year.

On average peoples hair grows a 1/2 inch a month. In the 11 years that I have been a stylist I have seen all kinds.
In a month Some grow 1 inch others grow 1/4 an inch

I also have seen people who take a lot of vitamins and eat really healthy increase their hair growth. It really depends on the individual.

Hi

On average peoples hair grows at half a inch every month. Some a bit more some a bit less.

Have a multi vitamins daily it will help with hair growth... but this and eating heathly is all you can do for growth really.

Or you could cheat and get some hair extensions while it grows. They do good clip in ones now.

It depends on how well you maintain it. How often you wash it. How often you trim it-and if you get relaxers, if you wait too long to put one on once your roots have grown out, that can cause some serious breakage. It also depends on how much and what kinds of chemicals you put in your hair.
