If marriage is a good thing then why do some people want to stop same sex couples getting married? Isn't that rather counter-productive?

They want less of it because marriage is VERY hard, and most people get married too fast, so it fails. They don't want to get married, only to have to get divorced.
As for me... I don't care if same sex couples get married or not. I think they should have the same rights as everyone else because they're people.

OK, if someone is in a situation where he/she can't make up his/her mind and all around him same sex couples are openly showing there sexuality it would be easier to try a homosexual relationship. On the other hand if those people would keep it in there bedroom it would be more likely that the person would end up in a heterosexual relationship. I have nothing against homosexuality, I look at it in a positive way it leaves more women for us, but it really turns my stomach when I see 2 men giving each other a passionate kiss.

i'm all for same sex marriage. i think homosexuality is nature's (god's) way of providing care for infants who cannot be raised by their birth parents, all while easing the strain on the environment due to overpopulation. seems to work like that for many other species. one more example of people trying to separate themselves from nature.

Marriage is a sacrement blessed by GOD for man and woman. If you don't believe in God or His will you shouldn't want to submit yourselves to His sacraments.
