Isn't it just so convenient how people fighting against stem cell research seem to "forget" why they were fighting the second they get Alzheimer's disease? Now why would that be?

Doesn't matter really,the Church has fought almost every scientific advance since the invention of the telescope.And at every turn they have lost because their worldview is never based around proof,it's based on fantasy. At least todays scientists don't have to be worried about being tortured and burned at the stake so I guess that's a step in the right direction.

When something doesn't affect them personally, they find it very easy to condemn. But, once it affects their own life, they will talk themselves into believing in something they once condemned.
