I know that I do, I have had several incidences in my life where I have clearly heard my father-in-law or father (both of whom are deceased) warning me quite clearly about not driving down a certain street or not traveling at all for some unknown reason, and I have avoided a serious accident because of it.
One night about eight years ago, I had been invited to a friends house for dinner, I was alone for a few nights as my husband was spending a few days with his Mom as she had just had hip replacement surgery, and my son was away on a band trip for school.
My friend is a nurse, and her husband owns his own woodworking business, as well as being a part time police officer and volunteer fireman. We had dinner together, and I was sitting around chatting with the adults and their kids were showing me various school projects, and my friend got called into work, she needed to go over a critical patients chart with the on duty staff for some reason, some orders from one of the doctors wasn't clear.
She left thinking that she was only going to be gone an hour or so, and asked me to stay until she got back as we were involved in a play together, and were going to go over some lines and stage directions for the following nights rehearsal.
So her hubby and I just carried on talking with the kids, then the two younger ones went off to bed and my friend called and said that she was going to be a bit later than she thought, so her and I decided to meet before rehearsal the following night.
I went out to my car, and started backing out of their driveway, and heard my father in laws voice as clear as day say "No, - using a nickname that only he and my husband used, don't go that way..." so I ended up backing out and turning to drive the longer route home (which I had never done previously,) my friends hubby even asked me what I was doing, and I said I just need to go this way and he just looked at my face and knew something had happened, we had all had lots of discussions about God and guardian angels over the years.
About forty minutes later, I had been home about twenty five minutes or so, I get this frantic call from my friend, she had just gotten home, and had actually driven the long way around just as I had, and had heard her grandfathers voice tell her not to drive her usual route home and her husband had just gotten a call that there was a fatal accident on the end of the street she and I would have been on, and a illegal transport of those long steel bridge beams had been attempted and the driver had ended up losing control of the truck and it ended up on its side across the entire street.
Her husband got called to the scene to help fight the fire. When the scene was reached by the fire engines, several other people were pulled over at the end of the road, as they were turning down, but stopped and pulled over when they saw the flames.
Another local man had taken the corner and had run right into it and died in the ensuing fire. The truck-carrier was completely unmarked and had no reflectors or anything, this was a two lane country road without many street lights and her and I would have most likely been seriously injured, if not killed.
I have had several other incidences where I have clearly heard my fathers voice tell me to or not do something, and I'll find out later that I avoided accident or injury. I have really learned to pay attention to all of these types of things.
I know that some people who refuse to believe, or choose not to be open to the greatness of the universe will not agree with there being guardian angels, but I thank the Lord every day for mine.
Have a good and blessed night.

There is no such thing as a guardian angel, only a close brush with danger. For every one person who avoids injury and consequently runs around thinking they're somehow blessed with the oversight of an immortal imaginary friend, there are a hundred thousand people who go out for a walk, tread on a disused landmine and expire immediately.

I think Ed Snow is right.
We've all got one following us everywhere. That means there are about 8 billion of the buggers and a quarter of them are chinese.
That's why the chip shop is so busy on a Saturday night, and there always seems to be twice as many people in there.
A good trick to try is walking slowly down the street, then suddenly run round the corner and jump on a bus while your angel isn't looking...it really bugs them.
Another good trick to try is to grow up and stop gullibly believing fairy stories about 'angels'.

Yes of course. There are roughly 6,373,000,000 people on this planet and a matching number of invisible supernatural beings with wings who float around doing sod all. That`s a lot of feathers !

We all have one. What's more your guardian angel is unique to you, i.e. when you die your guardian angel is not reallocated to someone else.
