I am getting my hair cut today, and I don't know how I want it! Ahh! I have a square-shaped face, and my hair is like, 3-4 inches past my shoulders, I have wide shoulders, as well!

i would ask the hairstylist, or go buy a hairstyle magazine!

Short hair around your shoulders is really in right now. I would get that. In fact, i am getting that, lol. It will make you look really pretty and cute!! It is also sophisticated.
Layers are also really nice. You could cut it like an inch and just get layers! Bangs are really in also!!!!!!!! BANGS!!!! If you get your hair layered it might get puffy and/or curly. In this case you might want to straighen it. If you don't want this then you could cut your hair like an inch and get bangs. This wont make your hair puffy or curly.
If you don't like these suggestions there are always hair style books in hairdressers. They usually have hot style hair magazines for you to read. If they don't have any of these i am sure Borders or CVS might have some. They aren't that hard to find!!!!!

go to the hairdressers a little early and look through their magizines they have...it will give you some idea.
you can also look for styles you like on the internet and take in a pic of it.
talk to you stylist - that is what they are there for. tell him/her to give you a suggestion of what will look good on you.

some hair down
-pull back some hair into a small ponytail
-put in a headband
- just leave it down
no hair down
-pull into a ponytail
-put in a bun
-braid it

ask your hair stylist. you probably wont want something bordering your face if it's square. maybe some kind of side swept bang or something.
