Ford 2005 Escape (Medium SUV) front brake pads replaced, tires rotated and inflated with nitrogen, rear brake drums checked dusted and cleaned...is $400.00 a good figure?

sounds about right actually....should be around 2.5 hours in labor plus parts

Not a bad price. But putting nitrogen in your tires is a waste of money unless you are driving a race car. Air is 80% nitrogen anyway.

That should not cost more than $100 here in California.
