Well if your Christian you would thinkit was true, if your not Christian then you wouldn't.
My guess your trying to trip people up, because alot of people won;t recognize this or know what it means.
But beliefs on the substitutionary atonement of Jesus dying on the cross (acting as a substitute for us to pay for our sins) it is pretty east to tell where one stands.

It is the crux of Christianity. Volumes can and have been written about it for thousands of years, and many more books have yet to be written that explore the depths of exactly what happened when Christ died for a rebellious man.
It allows a Just God to remain Just and Pure and Holy and Good and Righteous, while letting evil-doers such as ourselves go unpunished for our crimes against all of Creation. It is something more amazing than the human mind can comprehend, and yet so simple a child can understand.

I believe it is biblical. Jesus Christ suffered tremendously and died a horrible death to atone for our sins. It says so in the bible, therefore it is true. What we need to do as his creation is to repent of our sins and trust Christ. Praising God and thanking him for my salvation and for saving me from an afterlife of hellfire and damnation.

Krypton is right about one thing: It is not just.
That's right it isn't just. It isn't fair. But it IS merciful. Thank God for that.

We don't let this happen in society because it is not just. Don't see how it is if an entity does it.
plus it doesn't make sense.
god sacrificed himself, too himself, to appease himself, for crimes done to himself.
