Actually, he hasn't actually killed anyone in quite a while. Lately, he's just been sending other people to do it. Are you suggesting that the naive are better equipped to point out right and wrong?

Nothing in your question or the article you furnish shows Gereral Pace to be a warmonger. Where did you learn that he kills people for a living?
If you mean he kills people for a living since he's in the army, doesn't that mean that all those queers that you're defending kill for a living too ?
An arguement comes out better when you make things add up. You're way off course.

Yes. And the reason, of course, is that the commandment is "thou shalt not do murder." Or course people can be killed. Or are you ignorant of the rest of the Old Testament and you prefer to learn that verse only? Morality makes clear that the criminal murderer should be executed.

Meanwhile, we're in a war against people who started it. We're in Iraq, but these people don't claim countries nor borders. So the General doesn't like homosexuality? Big deal. It's been forbidden in the military for centuries for obvious reasons. Ask your favorite sports athlete about homosexuals in his locker room and see how he feels about it.

The simple fact is that homosexuals want everyone to be like them, all 2% of them. The other 98% largely find the idea repulsive. Thus, this wouldn't be a problem if they kept quiet about it.

Well I can't speak to whether it matters if gays are allowed to openly serve, but do you really want gay people to be able to join the military so they can become warmongering people who kill people for a living. You do realize that it is because of people like General Pace that you are free to even have a say,or would you rather live under the thumb of the govt like in China?

Killing is not a moral act it is simply a profitable gain, homosexuality is a moral act, it really upsets the religious sect, to support homosexuality today will simply be ones demise, his place is to warn the public of such moral disgrace among our soldiers, I just wonder when the gay society will give it up.

...Mr/Ms. Ludd: You ought to be thankful for all our men and women in uniform. They protect you day and night; because of them you can spout off any kind of nonsense speech you choose. Try using of some of your chosen words in Iran, China, Cuba, and/or North Korea, and see how many nice things it earns you.
...You and I are running loose and free because of their countless sacrifices. They defend us, our freedom, and our interests daily.
...Would you sit idly while we were attacked? Or would you assist the "warmongers" to save your skin?
...The military will forever be needed and should be respected. The world is full of depraved, power-hungry, corrupt individuals, and evil must be deterred.
..."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." (Attributed to Edmund Burke).
...What will you do?

People who have seen both sides of the debate often have a clearer perspective about it. Yes?

Bush needs all the cannon fodder he can get. Homosexuals die just as good as Heteros, Christians, Atheists.. etc

That's funny, I had the same thought when I read that earlier.

But really, who want to join the army now anyways? They're already trying to keep out the gays, women, and non-christians - they've screwed themselves over.

General Pace expressed his personal belief. You express yours. He is not telling the public what is or isn't moral.
