God the Father

And, by biblibal scholar, I assume you just mean someone who has studied the bible, and many other religious writings. Surely to be a scholar, I don't have to subscribe to the belief system contained within said book?

God is the creator of the universe. And, Jesus is same as God except in human form.

God is the Almighty, the creator of all things, the Alpha and the Omega. Psalms 83:18 will tell you what his name is.
Jesus is his son, who died for us, our redeemer and savior, ruling as king in the heavens. John 3:16

God is God and Jesus is God with us. (god in the flesh on earth with us and living breathing) he is not the same God because the same God cannot come to the earth. It is not his planet. the earth belongs to us and we are in charge of this world, HE GAVE it to us. So we govern it. for him to come and actually impact the world he has to enter earth as a man. not as a God. as a man he is "ONE OF US" get it? so now we can influence the world as Jesus, but see Jesus is not GOD God is still in heaven Jesus is "GOD with us" on earth. do you understand?
