i've heard that it is due to a calcium defficiency but i eat a lot of dairy products and drink a lot of milk and orange juice. i was wondering if any one knew what caused them and if there is any way to get rid of them?

Yep, I have also heard it was from a calcium deficiency. Try some calcium supplements.
