Go out for a few drinks with your friends and arrange to meet him. Then you know your safe. I met a guy off the net in January, were still friends now and still see each other. We did speak on line for nearly a year though b4 we decided to meet. Which is a good idea, if a guy is interested in you he wouldn't rush in to meeting you. Just take things slowly and be safe!

Okay, I would really like to remind you of the sheer amount of perverts and people who use the net to score sex from girls they never have to see again. I'm sure you think you are not that stupid, but do you think any of the ladies that fall for it thought they were? Just be careful, exercise your brain, and take someone with you if you meet him, and make sure it's a public place, you have money to get home and takle a picture of him on your mobile and send it to a friend the second you get there, if he freaks out you can bet his intentions are not good.

I met my bf in the net and we're still together for almost two-yrs. there was chemistry then and you will never know if you have it with this guy if dont meet him at all... i dont think its a fun idea to spend the rest of your life wondering what couldve-beens right?
BUT REMEMBER, I advise you NOT to trust this guy all at once, make sure you are not alone on your first, even your second meeting... if he really likes you, he will be patient and would work on his damnest to earn your trust... i dont know how old you are but you have to be careful nowadays with meeting strangers...

Only after your parents meet him first in person and he has spent some time at your house with your parents say about 6-10 times.Then find out where he lives some of the people who knows him and ask them some questions.

Well you gotta be sure that he aint a perv first! But I think that you shuld definitely meet him before you just decide to go out with him...you might not like him in the person. Remember.....people act different on the internet, more confident and all that. Meet him first and you may realise you don't even like him!

I would trust ur friends. How do u know if this guy is who he says he is. People can say anything online. Why would u go out with him when u dont even know him!

I think you've got to trust your intuition ... but be cautious. If he's a great guy then it's a shame not to give him a chance. If he's a loser then at least you'll have found that out for yourself.

there is a time in your life that you have to start thinking for yourself, i say meet the guy, give him a chance, then see where you both go from there. Your friends can't rule your life forever, do what your gut tells you, this guy may be the one for you.
