I really lyk my bf but he bores the hell out of me. We cant find ANYTHING to talk about other than school and his siblings. He's also REALLY immature. The whole point in me dating some1 older than me (only a half yr) is to have some1 MORE mature. He's really cute and I dont want to break up with him but what can I do to liven up the relationship...or should I just call it quits?

I think you should call it quits. If you want someone more mature, then go out, and find someone who suits your needs. He only likes to talk about a few different things only?? I don't blame you for feeling bored. If I were him, I would talk to you about anything, and everything that I knew about. Talk to him, and if he doesn't want to meet your needs, then I don't blame you if you were to find someone else. If he wants to make things work, he has to show some effort on his part. Good luck!

Age can't determine maturity, so 1/2 a year or 10 years won't make a difference. Maturity all depends on the actual person as a whole.
If you like him, then you like him, but if you don't like like him there's no need for you two to be going out. Because then things only get bad.
If you want something to talk about try watching TV together, or going out some place where you two will feel more inclined to talk.
You might look into going to a local carnival or circus. I like Cirque De Soul best.
Calling it quits all depends on how you feel though...

Sounds like you need to take the lead when talking. You talk about other things, ask him questions. Go do things together that will get his mind off his usual conversation subjects. Always has some type activity to do with him, walking, sports, games and just plan acting up and being funny. You sound sincere, so take the lead. give it a chance before you call it quits.

if you dont want to break up with him bcause it will hurt his feelings then personally i think thats wrong bcause if u think hes borin and immature now then thats basically like hurtin his feelings with out him knowing. sure u can try to liven it up but how? It definitely cant be by talkin so what r u gonna do kiss him all the time?

go on a nice date, talk about anything that comes to ur mind. I had this prob. But i solved it. Just talk about the first thing that comes to ur mind. Do fun stuff together. Like the movies or dinner something fun.. good luck i hope i helped u a lil bit...

You call dating someone 6 monthes older, "older than you" - please! And you say he is boring, immature,and you have nothing to talk about.......so what is there to like?
Just because he is cute doesn't mean you have to keep him around. Quit being shallow and look for some substance in your life.

Well there probably is nothing you can do to liven up your relationship with him...Sounds to me that you don't really love him.You are just with him to have someone. If you really don't love him and you are just with him cause he's hot...then dump him and find someone who you have more things in common with.

I have the feeling he doesn't have anything to talk to you about because you sound shallow and immature. Do him the favor and move on, he can probably do better.
