They may originate from INDIA or PAKISTAN, - and, could, very WELL, be, of the HINDU faith, - though, there is, also, the possibility, that they MAY follow SIKHISM! A Sikh, though, will ALWAYS be distinguished by their MIDDLE name, - "SINGH" (meaning "LION"), for a MALE, - and "KAUR", (meaning "PRINCESS"), for a FEMALE!
