Yes, you definetely need a visa. Unless if you want to apply visa on arrival directly at the airport, but I wouldn't recommend it to you since it has a lot of requirements. That type of visa only valid for a month and are available in Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Jakarta. Indonesia have an embassy in Ottawa and Consulate General in Toronto. I don't know in what city you are life in, but if you life in Ottawa visit this website before you actually go to the Embassy for further information about visa to Indonesia and how to apply it http://www.indonesia-ottawa.org/page.php?s=0630index. If you life in Toronto, you don't need to go back and forth to Ottawa because the Consulate also provide service for visa and consular matter: http://www.indonesiatoronto.org/default_new.asp?page=foreign_citizen. Good Luck!

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

If they won't give you a visa, visit the Philippines instead. We Canadians are given 21 days visa on arrival.
