my cousins birthday is in a month, and she wants to go to a spa in palm springs. she is high maintenanced and wants a fancy hotel and a pretty spa, but she is friggin cheap as hell, so i shouldnt bother spending so much money on her, cuz i kno she wouldn't do the same for me. would it be better to go seperate from the hotel and spa? or make sure the spa is inside the hotel? someone please tell me advantages and disadvantages, especially on prices! thanks!

You like your selfish cousin way too much... anyway I stayed at the Mira Monte Resort in Indian Wells which is next door to palm springs and just as beautiful. The rooms and spa was very very nice. Like everyone else said though that area is very expensive. It would probably be best to do a hotel/spa package then doing them separately. Unless you want to stay in a crapy motel and drive to a spa. check out these websites.

How about this:

Stay at the swanky Auberge de Vacances (o BEARJ day va CONS) (Holiday Inn)

Get her and throw her into some mud.

Toss her into the hot tub at the hotel. It's OK, kids haven't urinated into it for at least 20 minutes.

Have her stand outside while the wind sand blasts her. It's excellent for exfoliating.

Give her a famous Italian Zamboni Massage:Run her over with a steamroller. Guaranteed to get the kinks out.

OK, don't do it. It's mean, illegal, and might hurt. But I bet it felt good to think about it for just a moment, right?

So here's the deal: What's the relationship REALLY like? Are you really concerned about whether she spends that much on you? If so, maybe it's time to redefine the relationship.

BTW, La Quinta is a good choice. I know it's not in PS, but I also like some of the spas in Vegas. The Flamingo is pretty good (at least that's what my wife says), and there are plenty others as well.

I have been out there twice and everything seems pretty expensive. My favorite place was the La Quinta spa and resort in Palm Springs. The spa was top shelf. Rooms were nice too but pricey for sure.

A lot of places have special Spa deals if you are a guest at the hotel so I would check this out...Actually I think most Spas are independently run...
