I am about to adopt a 3 year old child. I am retired and draw SocSec. I don't want to say how much I draw and I know that I will be paid for her. I need to know how you estimate how much she will draw on my SocSec. So much percent or what???

Why does it matter? Would she just be a pay check to you?

Huh??? Why would you get paid for a child you're adopting?? You need to explain more.

Edit: If a child is ward of the state, they are a FOSTER CHILD, the family receives money for their care, but if the child is ADOPTED, even if they were a ward of the state, they no longer do.

Because the child is a ward of the state, and the state typically pays families that take it into their homes.

If you are not financially stable you wouldn't be able to adopt a child anyhow. I've only heard of people getting state money when they are housing foster children, not adoption.
