What type of music do you listen to?

What is your favorite type of music? Country, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Bluegrass, Soft Rock, Classic Rock, Rap!??!! And how does it make you feel?! What is your least favorite type of music and why?!

Well I would have to say my favorite music is country because it has some of my life problem s in some songs. It makes me have all different types a feelings(depends on the song).My leat favorite type of music is rap because I can't understand all of that mumble jumble.

Not counting stuff I wrote myself I listen to Classical, Rock, Jazz, Blues, a little Country and Folk; I also like Bluegrass.

Classical does various things depending on its period, style and complexity, or if it is programmatic or abstract in design (Symphony versus tone poem), so what I listen to determines how it makes me feel.

In rock I am looking for either energy (Jumpin' Jack Flash, LIttle Deuce Coupe) or sentimentality (You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling, Cathy's Clown).

In Jazz I am looking for complexity or laid-back (Dizzy Gillespie, Count Basie, Charlie Barnett, Woody Herman, Bill Evans, Django Reinhart, Stefan Grappelli, Miles Davis). I, like most guys, do not like "smooth" or "torchsong" jazz.

In Blues I want the truth to HURTTTTT. Mean and let 'er rip .(Charlie Musselwhite, Otis Rush, Jimmy Reed, Freddy King).

In Folk/Country it's the standards that recall an easier, more simple time, so that' s what I listen to (early Dylan, Joan Baez, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, George Jones).

I do not like rap or hip-hop as to me it is not really music, but rhymed beat. But that's what all the old fogies say about new music, so forgive me if I don't "get" it. I also do not particularly care for the disrespect shown to certain people within the lyrics, mainly against women.

The music I hate is BAD music, like inept, over-hyped, over-played, etc. (you all know who I mean!) I DETEST KENNY G!!!

1. i like pop, hip-hop, rock, soft rock, country, and rap.
2. some make me feel sad, happy, rebellious 9like who i am) and al kinds of different feeling, but it depends on teh music.
3.the least music i like is Jazz and Blues.

I like oldies rock n roll or southern rock or musicals. I get more work done listening to that. I listen to classical sometimes. I don't like country much at all. I grew up listening to oldies. don't know why I don't like country.

I listen to R&B, and Hip -Hop mixed with rock mostly. I like it cause it make me feel great. I don't like classic music that much cause i don't have the pacients for it.

i listen to christain, punk, rock, hip hop ,rap. i mostly like relient k, fm static, krystal meyers, fallout boy, toby mac. people like tht. my least is probly country or heavy metal with all the screaming. the screaming music gives me a headache.

My fav type of music (s) is rap, hip-hop, pop, and country. hip hop and all that stuff makes me feel hiper and jumpy but country is very touchy for me wit some songs!
