It depends on her "type" of hair. If she has fine, but thick/dry hair, use "Just For Me" and "Infusion 23".. Im biracial and it worked great for me.

If she has course/thick/dry hair, use Luster Pink Oil and Infusion 23 for nice curls.

If she is going to wear her hair straight, you will have to use a product that has little oil in it because once the humidity rises, so does your hair... Try "Dark and Lovely" version of balms.

If her hair has the same texture as black women, I am not really sure what you would do. Sally's Beauty supply has a conditioning balm called cholesterol, its a leave in treatment for the shower, you wash your hair put it on, go about your business then five minutes later, or right before you step out of the shower, rinse it out. For white hair textures, I use pantene pro-v daily moisture renewal, leave-in comb in treatement. Apply as much as you need to dry hair until its on fully covered, then pile her hair on top of her head in a messy bun sort of thing. She will sleep with this on her hair, it doesnt ruin my pillow or sheets, if anything it makes it smell like my shampoo which is a pleasant smell. In the morning you rinse it out, shampoo and condition, style your hair and you are on your way. If you need touch ups after styling, or during, use a serum. John Freida Anti Frizz Serum is great for unruly dry locks. I swore by it when i was in junior high. Another way to keep hair moisturized is to try and reduce heat styling. Just like dehydration on a hot summer day, hair reacts much the same way

I have really curly hair and it is really dry, too. I went to my local natural foods store and tried out some natural oils. Coconut worked well and so did lavender. Rose oils work well, too. Ask the clerks to help you. They are often very knowledgeable and helpful.

Sunsilk shampoos and conditioners work really well too. The pink, blue, or purple bottles worked the best for me.

a product call "Pink Oil" might help if you haven't tried it ; It's a hair lotion sold in almost every store (including Walmart) in the black hair care products section. It's good to apply just before styling.
