I already answered this yesterday. The only way to get water into a pressurised boiler is by forcing it in with a Feed Pump.
The feed pump pressurises the water to about 10% higher pressure than the boiler drum pressure which allows the water to enter the boiler. The feed water is first dearated and is then heated in boiler uptake economiser. To a temperature just below saturation temperature.
Its pretty obvious really.
If you know of any different method then congratulations on discovering the most important engineering find of the last 100 years.

Pumps, called injection pumps, are used to force feed water back into the boiler. They don't have to be big, and usually are not. All the pump really has to do is to keep up with the amount of steam produced per hour. A little water, makes a lot of steam.

Steam locomotives and traction engines generally used injectors, as well as mechanical pumps, to get water into boilers under pressure. Injectors are no-moving-parts pumps based on Bernoulli's principle. See my answer of yesterday on how an injector works, if you are interested.

you employ a feed pump. the two a very good displacement or centrifugal pump the feed tension for a boiler working at approximately 600psi should be approximately 750psi. The feed water is often heated in an economiser in the previous it enters the boiler drum.

i should imagine the boiler would have a non return valve so you pour the water through without it spitting it back

open the valve to relief the pressure, then you ad water
