Ils s'étaient rencontrés sur les bancs d'l'école (They met on the football bleachers at school)
(In one hour detention in math, and afterwards in spanish class)
( She was a fun girl, crazy over soccer)
(He wasn't scared of balls, he was the goalie)
(what he promised her was songs on a Corvette ride)
Pour l'instant en survêt, il volait des mobylettes (However, for the moment he only rode a moped)
Mais entre eux c'était toujours complicité (but between them it was always complicity)
S'il devenait triangle, elle serait rectangle (if he became a triangle, she would be a rectangle)
La belle et le bad boy, le triangle rectangle (the beauty and the bad boy, the triangle-rectangle)
C'est comme passer de Joe Dassin à Jodeci (It's like becoming Joe Dassin to Jodeci)

She's living the big love that started in class)

(But the context is stronger than the concept)
(her man throws himself in flames and washes himself with that)

{Chorus:}

Les sous-ensembles dans les grands ensembles s'assemblent (the sub-groups in the big groups gather, get together, assemble) *This is refering to gangs. The two rivals are the Corvette rider and the BMW one*
La belle et le bad boy (the beauty and the bad boy)
Les sous-ensembles dans les grands ensembles s'assemblent (the sub-groups in the big groups gather, get together, assemble)
Pour gagner des sous ensemble. (To win money together)
Parlent sans faire semblant de faire des coups ensemble(they talk without faking it of doing s*it together) *referring to dirty deals*
Et si c'est sanglant. Ils plaident devant Dieu ensemble. Vu. (And if it's bloody they plead with God together. U get it.)
Il était convaincant, elle était convaincue (He was convincing, she was convinced)

À croire qu'aujourd'hui s'arrêter était exclu (to believe that today, to stop was forbidden)
( They traffic false bills with a network of slaves)
In france it's a serious crime)
(The guys come out of des Baumettes= a prison in Marseille)
Lui n'a qu'un seul truc en tête, c'est la quête de sa Corvette. (He only has one thing on his mind, it's to kill the Corvette driver)
Ambiance paranoïaque. L'équipe adverse traîne (Paranoid atmosphere. The rival gang is lurking)
Des projectiles partent quand une BM freine. (Gun bullets are shot when a BMW stops)

Quand elle tombe. Il a les larmes aux yeux (When she falls, he has tears in his eyes)
Deux balles de 22. Vingt-deux ans adieu. (Two bullets of a 22 calibur. 22 years good-bye)
Le contexte est plus fort que le concept (the concept is more difficult than the concept)
(Her man throws himself in the flames, he must wash himself with that)

{Chorus:}

Those are the lyrics in French. I could translate them into English if you would like, but it might take a really long time because most of the lyrics are "slang" so some of them don't translate into English. It's like most rap songs, they don't make too much sense lol.

Ok, so that's the translation :-) And you're welcome.

Sometimes bands will put the English translation on their website, but you might want to google "La Belle et Le Bad Boy English translation" and see if you find it. Otherwise, type in small phrases at a time on Babel Fish or one of the other translating sites.

you can go to www.letssingit.com and then you can find the lyrics. then you can ask a person who speaks french and english, of course, to translate it for you! that's the most trustable way. 'cause otherwise, internet translators don't do it the right way. good luck!
