If thtas what you are doing, then go to your local VFW post or American Legion, most towns have one, but they wont give you any list of names. You can however, bring your troop to the next meeting and present your ideas to them, and volunteer to help them when they need it>

All US Military members and veterans are protected from such list with the Privacy Act. SInce your intentions are good one, and depending on the size of your town, you may be able to write a letter to the editor or another staff writer explaining the project you are working on and to ask them to have the service members or their family members contact you or the paper with their information. That way you aren't stepping on anyones toes either. Not all vets are happy campers about their service time and you don't want to just throw up a memorial no matter how great and honorable your intentions are without kind of having the thumbs up from the people whose names will be used. Thank you for your project idea. We need more young people like you that see the importance of military members and veterans.

Best place for you to find out the information you need would be the public library. The local VFW and American Legion would be good also.

First of all you can not get a list of active duty persons...but why does your question strike me as somewhat shady?? why do you need that information??? if you need that information for something VALID, you should know where to find it and its not in a Yahoo message board...

properly on the time you are able to have gained that promise it did no longer fee $2 hundred for a vaccination, $3 hundred for an IV, $seventy 5,000 to have a toddler, and over $2 hundred,000 to have an operation. that's a factor of the reason that coverage money are actually greater. Now the fee for a kinfolk to be in Tricare for existence is around $six hundred or so a 12 months and that on my own is what many human beings pay in a month for healthcare that isn't settle for pre-latest circumstances.
