The best remedy for someone who has been abused is councelling. Things like this are never forgotten and if ignored will affect you for the rest of your life. Talk about it with someone who can offer the right kind of advice. My question to you however is: Has this person gotten out of the abusive situation? If not, then that is the first step. I know it's not easy and most often creates some self-esteem/confidence issues but it's the best thing to help get the process going. If you constantly ignore emotions created from these types of situations, most often you'll see a result physically/health-wise, constant feeling of sickness etc. It'll be far better in the long run if it's confronted rather than forgotten or burried within. Best of luck to this person.

You will will never forget what happened to you, and I would give anything to tell you that there is a natural remedy out there, the only natural and really healthy thing to do is to confront it,get in a group ,talk about it and maybe your most unfortunate situation will help someone else, and in that you will in time feel better. Not forget, but you wil feel better Good Luck

You don't need to do either. Remembering is to be safe and forgetting is to repeat. If you know what happened you can learn to deal with it. If you forget you can never get help. Besides people have tried forgetting (denial) for years and remembered later in life. You don't need to confront, it is very unlikely the person cares about what they did and in some cases they don't remember. You seriously need to get some books and read up on molestation and the symptoms and behaviors. I was molested more than once. Two served time.

No. It's not healthy to do that. It will always come back up. Best to confront it and move past it. Maybe talk to a therapist. It's sometimes easier to do that than a friend.

nature remidies? definately not! after an abusive past the person should confront it in order to move on. its not healthy to keep the issues bottled up inside.

Prayer. Believing in restoration, hope, faith. Not letting self-pity control your life.
