what should i do? i really don't want to further this and i don't want to break up with him on his birthday. so what DO I DO?!

You should've broke up with him earlier. now that his birthday is very near, you have to wait like a week after his birthday.

well if you feel this strongly do it today not tomorrow it might soften the blow!
he might be crushed but his b-day might improve that!!
if i was in your situation i would do it on Friday not today later so he can have a good b-day and you can have a enough time to think about how your going to break it off!
