.... and not find God anywhere, when in fact all I need to do is not find God in one location since he is supposed to be omnipresent?

So you came to this conclusion too.

I searched for God everywhere in my bottle of Aquafina and he was nowhere to be found.

That is why I became an atheist.

Explanations and descriptions of God are more about convenience than anything else. "God is part of everything", "the Lord works in mysterious ways", etc. Whatever fits the situation most conveniently, and whatever allows believers to go on believing unabashed.

I think you will have to look outside the universe, to find the creator. You cant create a universe from the inside of it.

And you cant use our typical modes of perception either, which makes it such that you must rely on faith not measurements.

He could be like those WMD in Iraq, you know, on rails. He's in Syria now. Did you check there? Better go check again.

Right. You CAN prove a negative if it can be shown to be logically self-contradictory. There are no spherical cubes for instance.
