The ORIGINAL origin of original sin...a "dirty" mind.

This is so funny! I'm a Christian, but I never thought about Adam and clay like that before. ^^

I think the best answer would be no. God did take clay and made Adam, but Adam was transformed into a living, breathing human with blood, bones, skin and internal organs made out of various stuff.

We do decompose into dust after we die. Or, 'clay'. "From dust we came, and to dust we shall return."

But the answer is no. No. ^^;

the Bible says that God formed man from the dust of the earth. you should read the first few chapters of Genesis.

no Adam was not dirty. every work of God is perfect, and other than the fact that Adam had one less rib than everyone else, he was just the same as anyone else.

Of course, not, because God always keeps a little reclosable plastic tub of Wet Ones in his overall pocket.

God reached down and wiped every bit of Adam clean, and then tossed Adam onto the dung heap of history, laughing all the while . . .

At the that moment, God cried out to Adam 'You're clean, but you will spend the rest of eternity trying to stay clean!'

Some men have defied God, and decided just to live in filth. But God so loved the whirled, that He sent his only Dove Soap into the shower, that whosoever wipeth his back, shall have shiny everlasting skin bright. Amen.

I'd rather say not, since all the clay that was on Adam must actually have been parts of Adam, so all that *was* Adam himself, so no, no dirt.
(it would be like saying that a cream cake is dirty of cream, see...)
