my friend talked to this guy i like and he likes me! she also asked him if hed ever go out w/ me and he said he would.but its leen like 2 weeks nd he hasnt even given me a glance!! does he not like me or is he just shy in asking me out??

Ignore what everyone else says and listen to me. DO NOT ask him out. If you don't even know him good enough as a friend and can't just walk up to him and talk to him, there is no way in your mind you should ask him out. I have 2 suggestions.
1.) make small talk about what ur friend said and gradually get to the part about u guys going out.
2.)or ask your friend to talk to him again and she should ask him if he's ever gonna ask her out.
But if you don't do either, he probably will never ask you out.

Have a party and invite him. Just put together a gathering of friends at a restaurant, coffee bar, or other small shindig . . . find ways to 'throw' the two of you together so that he will be able to work up the nerve to ask you out.
Just think, if he doesn't come through, SOMEBODY you might like certainly will!

B) He liked you but changed his mind
Don't feel bad, Kids change a lot especially in their minds so either make the first step and try to ask him out, or assume that he's not interested in move on.

Have you even talked with the guy (that means you, not your friend)? If not, try it. Just go up to him and ask him a question that he should know the answer to.

Did your friend really ask? If he's not even glancing your way, he could be nervous. Or he could be trying to avoid you. Can't say what he's really thinking, you have control of this situation.

I mean how do you even know if he knows you like him too.
Maybe he's trying to avoiding rejection?

well 2 weeks is a long time....maybe he hooked up with your friend instead......i dont think he likes u anymore, u should have asked him out while u had the chance
