To get rid of the rash on ur stomach, apply a steroid cream to the affected and do not scratch it. Should go off in a few days.

You need to change to a nickle or chromium free belt. If you really like that belt, just avoid contact with the skin by wearing it over ur top or with ur top tucked in. Don't wear ur belt too tight too. Lastly can apply a nail vanish over the buckle.

Absolutely. I have a severe nickle allergy and have had problems with belts, watch straps, top trouser poppers and glasses.

You need to stop wearing a belt and get your GP to prescribe a small tube of moderate potency steroid to settle it down.

Nickle free glasses and watch straps are fairly readily available but I have struggled to find labelled nickle free belts. By trial and error I have found some, I also try and avoid the belt touching my bare skin.

There is an American company that sells nickle free belts, but the postage is often as much as the belt cost!

I get that too, from any metal that has nickel in it. After you change the belt or coat the back of it with clear nail polish, use a neosporin or polysporin on the rash to help clear it up and make it more comfortable. You also might use a little gauze pad over it so there is no more irritation or rubbing.

To prevent the rash, get some clear nail polish and coat the metal on the belt with it. Getting rid of existing rash will simply take some time. Keeping the area clean and dry will help; also try to protect it from chafing while it's healing.

I'd like to know because my grand daughter is allergic to it also. Whenever she wear jeans the nickle on the back of the buttons on the jeans give her a rash. I thought this was unusual but I guess not.

First get rid of that belt. Second take a walk to you nearest pharmacy or drug store and ask for a tube of Hydrocortisone Cream,Hydrocortisine is an Antihistamine which counteracts the allergic reaction you are having to the nickle in your belt.Keep the affected area very clean and use the hydrocortisone and you will get rid of it.

you can temporarily treat the rash with hydrocortisone cream (this can only be used for a max of 7 days).
To avoid getting the rash, try painting the buckle of the belt with clear nail varnish.
