Bacon Wrapped BBQ Shrimp

INGREDIENTS
16 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 slices bacon
barbeque seasoning, to taste
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
Wrap shrimp with 1/2 slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick. Be sure and use the large shrimp--the cooking time for the shrimp and the bacon is similar. If you use medium-sized shrimp, you might want to precook the bacon a little--over cooked shrimp are tough and rubbery--and a real shame.
Line a jelly roll pan with extra heavy duty foil, and place baking rack in pan. Place the shrimp on the rack, and sprinkle heavily with the barbecue seasoning, turn and sprinkle second side. Let the shrimp sit for 15 minutes. The bacon will turn from creamy white to a little opaque, and the seasonings will soak in.
Cook the bacon for 10 to 15 minutes. The rack keeps the shrimp from sitting in the draining bacon fat. With a little luck, you won't tear the foil -- you can throw that away and only have to scrub the rack.

Garlic and Pepper Shrimp
(Perfect over rice)
INGREDIENTS
2 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
1 cup shredded cabbage
1 tablespoon minced garlic
8 large fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons sliced onion
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon soy sauce
DIRECTIONS
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet over high heat. Add cabbage and 1 tablespoon water stir-fry for 30 seconds. Remove cabbage from skillet and place on a serving platter.
Heat the remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons oil in the skillet over high heat. Place the garlic and shrimp in the skillet and stir until garlic is lightly browned and shrimp turns pink. Add pepper, onion, cilantro, soy sauce and remaining water to the skillet. Stir-fry for 10 seconds. Pour the hot mixture onto the cabbage.

Tequila Shrimp Kebabs

INGREDIENTS
2 pounds shrimp
1 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
8 mushroom caps
1/4 yellow onion
8 slices bacon
2 tablespoons tequila
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon lime juice
Tabasco sauce, to taste

DIRECTIONS

Remove shells from shrimp. De-vein if needed.

Mix tequila, lime juice, oil and Tabasco.

Cut peppers and onions into 1 1/2 inch squares. Marinate shrimp, mushrooms, peppers and onions for at 1 hour in refrigerator.

If mushrooms break while being skewered, wrap them in bacon too.

If you like spicy I have one for you called Peppered shrimp. I actually got it out of one of Paula Deens cookbooks tried it with my husband and he loved it. But we love spicy things hope you give it a try you might like it too

3 pounds fresh shrimp, unpeeled
8 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons chopped garlic
4 tablespoons freshly ground pepper

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Wash and drain shrimp, and place in a shallow baking pan. In a saucepan, melt the butter, add the garlic, and saute for 3 to 4 minutes. Pour the butter mixture over the shrimp and toss to coat. Pepper shrimp until shrimp are well covered. Bake until pink, approximately 5 minutes, turn, bake a few minutes longer, and pepper again. You must use a heavy hand with the pepper.
{I acutally used more butter, garlic and pepper then is called for the second time to spice it up even more}

Fiery cajun shrimp
2 cups (4 sticks) melted butter
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons ground pepper
2 tablespoons hot sauce (recommended: Texas Pete)
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons salt
5 pounds unpeeled medium shrimp
2 lemons, thinly sliced
French bread, for dipping

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Stir together the butter, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, pepper, hot sauce, garlic, and salt. Pour half this mixture into a large heatproof dish. Layer half the shrimp and half the lemon slices in the dish; then form a second layer with the remaining shrimp and lemon slices, and pour remaining sauce into the dish. Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink, stirring twice. Pour off the sauce into individual serving dishes. Serve the shrimp with plenty of French bread for dipping in the spicy butter sauce.

Why not make a shrimp salad? Except, not a salad with shrimp in it, a spread like chicken salad or tuna salad. Try using a chipotle mayo, thin slices of radish, a little celery, and just a drizzle of honey to sweeten it up. Of course you'll need to cook the shrimp first. If you can, grill them with lime and garlic. Otherwise use shrimp boil and cayenne.

EDIT: Oh, and etouffee is awesome!

I like to sautee shrimp in olive oil with onion, squash, and mushrooms. Its really good! Another way is kebabs (sp?) Grill them with pineapple, onion, and mushrooms (or whatever you want). Brush them with garlic butter while they grill.

I would have a look at the following sites. I use them all the time when i'm cooking. They will most likely have something about shrimp.
