every evening my wife,aged 60,begins to nap from the moment she sits down for the evening,usually about 7pm.she rouses every 5mins or so.may make a comment,but if I take a few secs to answer,she,s nodded of again without hearing my reply.Nn amount of complaining on my part dters her nodding afew secs later.has she a problem or is it just me with the problem.this is repeated every evening,has done for years;HELP.

Is she gaining weight, losing hair, have dry skin? If she does you may want to get her thyroid hormones checked out. Sleepiness is a symptom of that, or she could possibly have narcolepsy.

Narcolepsy is a neurological condition most characterized by Excessive Daytime Sleepiness (EDS). A narcoleptic will most likely experience disturbed nocturnal sleep, confused with insomnia, and disorder of REM or rapid eye movement sleep. It is a type of dyssomnia.

your wife probably has a sleep disorder called narcalepsy she should get help with this as soon as possible theres medications out there and even hospitals that can treat her for it. narcalepsy can be dangerous in some situations exspecially when driving infact narcaleptic people i dont think can even drive

she might have Narcolepsy a neurological disorder which cause people to doze off frequently you may want to take her to a doctor to get a better diagnosis.

Or maybe you are running her ragged all day, by making her your slave, one will tire up running after her delicious hubby all day.
