I am bipolar. They say that people with bipolar disorder have ideas of grandeur and believe were special and yada yada yada but exceptional things always happen to me, for example, my day: took my car for repairs and they fixed it for free my warranty was up 15,000 miles ago. Then I called to check on the status of an order I had placed and then cancelled. My credit card was refunded the money AND the shipment was sent and they cannot take it back!!! Things like this happen to me all the time. When I told my psychologist that things like this happened I almost laughed because I know she thought Im just nuts anyone similar to me

Yes...but it's not me... and I wish it was!

My sister, Joan, I call her "Lady Luck" is always blessed with good fortune.

She wins every week on the California Lottery, not big time, but she gets a lot back when she plays.

She ordered an expensive leather couch last year from Montana. It came on time. A week later another one came (she is honest) and tells the Factory. Just keep it they tell her and there won't be any charges! Her neighbor saw the extra couch and Joan sold it to her for $6,000.

I took her to the Casino last year. She put one nickel in the slot machine and won $50,000.

She went to her Doctor for her yearly checkup. The Doctor looked at her and asked: "Joan, will you tell me how to look and be as healthy as you"? He paid her for the visit!

I love my sister...but to be honest...I am a little (lots) envious of her continual luck.

By the way she is "Bipolar".

Is that lucky? Sure it is? are you the only special person out there that this sort of thing happens to. Absolutely not, everyone has times where things fall in their favor, I went to a cash advance place and they handed me an extra $50 over what I borrowed. I returned it because my good luck would have been someones bad luck. But getting down to earth here, to think that your more special then other people, that you are gifted with more luck or anything else similar are ideas of grandeur. Just remember for every good exceptional thing that happens to you, millions of other exceptional things are happening to other people all over the place.

Your feeling of being lucky is just the perception you have. Many "lucky" and "unlucky" events happen to all of us, all the time. Good for you for being positive! Much better than being the type who sees all the "unlucky" side.
