Yes, because we servicemen believe in what we do. A decent amount of soldiers beg and plead to deploy in support of their country. We understand honor and duty. The protestors don't care about soldiers or how they feel about anything. They're just mad that Bush followed through on legislation that Clinton signed.

Yes they do complain. Some for the right reasons like making sure that our troops are treated well when they are here. For example, at Walter Reed. Some complain about too quick of a turn around from one deployment to the next. Those are the people who seem to care about the troops.
Some complain about the effect it is having on our economy. Gas prices, government programs budgets being cut, etc. Everyone is effected by the war, some just more than others. Everyone has the right to an opinion I just hope people are willing to be polite about putting theirs out there.
The military doesn't complain much due to the fact that since it is a voluntary service, most see that it is their duty to and an honor to serve our country and our people. God Bless.

I don't hear too much complaining from the civilian population that I run across, but I sure hear a lot of wining from the liberal element and the lemmings who respond to their rhetoric !

I'm still trying to figure out their plan after the troops withdraw from Iraq, and the whole middle east is in turmoil ! Don't these poor souls realize their anti-government and anti-military policies make them the enemy just as much as the insurgents that steal their way into Iraq, (usually from Iran) to
help instigate civil war and to kill American warriors! They are no less to blame for the deaths of our troops than the raghead shooting an IED straight at a squad of young Marines. Why/ Because that raghead knows that his tactics along with your tactics is what will win the war for them.

Don't you dare use that overworked bullcrap about being for the troops but against the war! You can't be both! The troops are their to go to war. They volunteered to protect our country and it's allies and that is what they are doing. You don't approve so you protest against what they are doing ! I see this as a clear understanding that you oppose our troops, so no more bullcrap about supporting our troops or our country.

You are a traitor of the lowest kind and it's you who we should be spitting on as you walk down the street, or at the airport, or going to church on Sunday, you low life hypocrite !

Yes,

Civilians have the freedom to complain, but Soldiers have the right to complain. The reason our soldiers don't complain is because they believe in what they're doing.

They aren't allowed to complain in public! Are you really that naive?

Civilians run the military, not the military!!

And it is Iraq!

You wont hear me complaining and I've been to Iraq twice...the main reason is that WAR is the buisness of the military and not Peace...and soldier or Marine is less likley to complain because it's our job to go fight and we know the real facts of the war...but i dont care im not just fighting to fight i fight for their right to complain also

Wow, you notice that too. The people who are largely uneffected by the war b*tch and moan the most. Those of us who serve in it actually support it and know what the hell is ACTUALLY going on over there.
