You can try to combat this yourself by finding more friends and getting interested in going places and doing things. Some times we have a chemical imbalance (depression) that needs to be treated.

Why not join a Club whatever takes youre fancy.Go on an Art Course either in a College or an Artists Studio some of these can be quite reasonable in Price for Courses. Take a Dancing Class like for instance, Ballroom, Salsa, Hip Hop if youre young enough,Line Dancing, Or even join an Hiking group that goes walking in the Countryside or the Hills, or perhaps a Social Club. Try and get a Friend to join with you if you dont want to go there alone. You will just have to get up and go or else wallow in youre Misery. Good Luck.

Take a bit of time to think about what you really want from life. For most people money, possessions etc, don't really make you happy. If you look back at your highlights in your life to date you will find, events, things that you have done and people you have been with are more memorable then new shoes etc!
If you can find out what has made you happy in the past it will give you some idea of where you need to head to in your life.
If you go out, doing things for yourself that you enjoy you will meet like minded people - maybe even a special someone.
If you are so low that you cannot get yourself out you may need to talk to your doctor, and get some help as you might be clinically depressed.
Good luck.

Congratulations, you are an interesting person then :)
You seem to be bored with average life, maybe you have some undiscovered talents? The best thing I ever did was going on holiday on my own. Just don't go for beach holidays or so. Just book a weekend trip to somewhere you have never been or never thought about going and see how you feel being somewhere totally different aways from everyday's boredom.
At the end of the day you owe it to yourself and life is too short. I wanted to die yesterday, but today I am my own best friend again, buildung my future. Don't let yourself down, explore the world and what it has on offer for you.
Good luck and let me know how you get on.

Find something you really enjoy doing. Fix the things in your life. Get rid of the bf you say you no longer love. That can be weighing you down. Go outside sometimes. Smeell some fresh air. keeping active is the best way. If you really feel bad you might want to consider talking to your doctor about depression alternatives: remedies, medication, ect. or physical fitness....

I have recently been feeling the same...like thought about my lie and wondered what the point of it all was. I was dead lonely. But recently I have been trying really hard to be positive and finallt it is paying off. I have spoken to my friends about how I feel and they tried really hard to cheer me up. I think what you need is to get rid of the boyfriend, get the girls together and go out on the pull. Not only will you have fun, but it'll probably increase your confident and you might get a nice new guy out of it aswell!

You need an interest that will put a bit of passion in your life, try something different like belly dancing or a night course.
Always remember that "This will come to pass" this will reasure you when times are hard and also make you appreciate when times are good.

well for one, if you dont love your b/f why aint you calling it a day?
with that hanging over your head that aint good, and it will be more fair for him for you to call it a day so he can find someone that will love him!
then you, can go out go clubbing get sloshed have a good night, wake up in your bed not knowing how you got home!
just change your life, or keep on feeling sorry for yourself for another 5 years!!
