okay my ex keeps calling me names and staying things behind my back and i don't wamt him back that would be a huge mistake. but he was also doing drugs and i might not wanna be with him be i still care and i don't wanna see anyone get hurt or hurt themselves and so i told his mom and me and her still have a very close relationship. well i need some advice on what is should do cuz now he keeps talking his talk about me and calling me names and now is saying things about how i'm a horrible person cuz i can't keep my mouth shut and i know it's stupid high school drama alot of people are starting to believe what he is saying but i haven't said or done anything to him since the beginning or the year. and that is when we broke up soo please can someone please tell me what to do i've done all i can do. i can't be nice about this anymore

You have pretty much done the right thing and about all you can do. You obviously care about him weather or not you are in a relationship. It's not a bad thing to care about people. Just remember to care about yourself once in awhile. Hopefully his parents can help him the rest of the way. High School is High School and maybe you won't understand this, but in 5 or 10 years from now you will probably have contact with no more than 5 people from school and they are the ones that didn't care about or believe the rumors. Life goes on. You need to live your life and not care what others think about rumors that are spread. Just know deep down you have helped someone and feel proud for that.

High school ....
ok how about going to your guidence counselor and see if you can get a few classes changed around so he and you won't cross paths as much. Maybe your counselor will have a suggestion. Worth a shot. Good Luck...
