Let me see. Get my self shot because I'm a homophobe or rely on a fellow soldier equally trained and probably thinking much the same as I am about the situation. I think I pick the fox hole. Somehow I don't think he'd have time or want to try anything and secondly flying bullets coming in my directions are just not what I consider a good idea. Bullets could kill me chances are the guy in the fox hole won't

As long as "he" kept his mind on the job, it wouldn't bother me.
Sharing a foxhole (again no pun intended) with an attractive straight female might be a little difficult for me though.

I was in the Army for eight years, and I shared foxholes with plenty of dudes. They were also male, making them guys as well. Didn't bother me a bit.

Gays have been in the world's military for centuries. I KNOW I've worked with both homosexuals and lesbians, and I took showers with gay men. Of all the gay men I've known and been stationed with, not one has hit on me. I've found that the gays (men and women) I've been stationed with have ALL been top performers. One of my lesbian friends (an E-7/Gunny Sgt), was up for orders to the Commandant of the Marine Corps when she was 'outted' by a nosy little witch who was taking care of her apt/guinea pig while Kim was visiting with my wife and I. The girl got nosy and found pictures taken in Spain on a nude beach of nude MEN, nude WOMEN and NUDE MEN AND WOMEN, also some letters from her lover in Hawaii. Less than 3 months later, Gunny Kim was a civilian after 15 years serving honorably as a U.S. Marine. No one in her unit knew she was a lesbian.
So in answer to your question, if the guy was combat trained, and otherwise trustworthy, yes, I'd share my foxhole and my MRE's with him.

I am so sick of this crap, when bullets fly, is the soldier going to ask his fellow man, are you going to defend me or jump me? Get real! Bullets do not discriminate. it is not as if the "gay" dude is going to paint his bullets fuschia and decorate the barracks in pink.
The hang up over another person's sexual orientation is stupid and infantile. Hell, at least the "gay" dude is willing to put his life on the line to defend this country unlike some "straight" ones.

I don't give a damn if he's gay or not so long as he shoots straight and doesn't fall asleep on watch. I also require that he not fall apart under fire. Any other consideration is a stupid luxury I don't have nor need.

No, or at least up until the time he started thinking he wanted to get his last piece of whatever before he dies, then i guess i would have to move out, find another foxhole, and leave him to do whatever he wanted to himself.

there are no non believers in a foxhole(in combat),And since he's going to hell anyway,he might be a better soldier and try even harder to stay alive.

Stupid questions. I am not a soldier so I would never try to hypothesize on how I would feel in a fox hole.
