Forget the lightbulb. Eventually it will cease working and go out for good. Then you will be left with even less than what you have now. A piece of glass with a vacuum inside.
In my many travels I have never met a lightbulb that ever returned any favors and they all seem to demand electricity before they will perform and light up.
When, I just ask when has the lightbulb ever lit up when you entered the room without someone having to give it some electricity first? I'll bet ... never!
I have known many people who have attempted the human/bulb interrelationship challenge, and none have ever been able to overcome the simple truth. The bulb will only light up when you feed it electricity, and then its quite often to hot to be touched. Then when its turned off, it goes to room temperature. There's never a happy medium on this one.
And forget those Compact Flourescent Bulbs too. As a species they claim to save energy and conserve the environment, but they are high maintenance bulbs and will still refuse to light up until you give them electricity first.
Its always a one way street with light bulbs. They never return any emotional support. They just light up when you give them some power, and then when the power runs out. They turn off and grow cold.
There are few objects in this world that come close to human companionship. At least another human being is capable of lighting up when you enter a room, without any electricity or power being applied to them.
If you just can't stand human companionship, a pet like a cat or dog will at least love you unconditionally. But its a platonic love.
Finally, making love with a lightbulb can be very, very tricky. First of all, one false move and there will be broken glass all over the place and though the bulb could die, you will be cut, injured and likely will bleed. And even if the bulb survives the initial breakup, it will never light again.

I actually were in that position earlier and that i need to assert, I hated it. the very actuality the man i replaced into deeply infatuated with felt no longer some thing replaced into heart breaking. I felt insecure because I couldnt understand why 'X' didnt love me. Felt emotionally exhausted after making alot attempt and getting so connected.sure, its lonely.
