Dear E1,

True Science does support Christianity. As scientists get more and more information about the universe and the galaxy containing earth, they see the impossibility of a "big bang" to explain it all. It now appears that the universe is geocenttic--the earth is at the center. Black holes that were supposed to be at the fringes of the universe are now found to be in the "thick" of things. There are also a number of studies that have found conclusive evidence that the earth is thousands of years old and not billions as taught in most schools throughout the world. After, the downright fraud of "lucy" and piltdown man, among others, why has this deception not been revealed and erased from high school textbooks?
The fact of the matter is that "evolution" is a religion in itself. Man knows that there is a Being that he is accountable to but man attempts to explain it away by far fetched ideas.

Maybe you should have specified the religions - and the sects/denominations within them.

As far as I am aware Baha'i is based on the fact that religion and science are completely compatible, most pagans find no problem with science, 90% of English Christians have no problem with science and I'm sure there is a whole heap of American Christians too. Then there are Hindus and Jews, and Sikhs etc etc.

Many people that claim science as their truth, are really just anti-religion. But to many religious types are that way to.
I think science and religion do get along somewhat but it is dis-hearting to watch the venom that is thrown at religion here.
No one can claim absolute truth as to religion or science but many think they can.

What amuses me the most about the science part is, who cares really? If tomorrow I decided that the theory of evolution is correct and denounce my religion, what difference will that make? None, whatsoever. Also if the theory of evolution is proven beyond any doubt then, just what good will that be to our world? No good at all. Now if they can figure out the future then we are in business.

Billions of dollars are wasted on trying to prove our past, and again, when and if it is proven, so what?

Yes. As I've said many times before...

When science finally peers over the crest of the mountain, it will find that religion has been sitting there waiting for it all along.

The reason they conflict is because the "science" is a lie. Evolution is not science. What happened in the beginning of the earth which is stated in the Bible, now that is science. REAL science and the Bible don't conflict. The lies placed in this supposedly "science" is a lie.

Science never fights anyone. It just presents facts. Now, religions just fighting it's own innacuracies. If religion is not compatible with the real world, it tries to change the world to match it's book. Hence Intelligent Design and all the other "theories" that aren't theories at all.

It already has! It is just some ppl who give others the idea that it hasnt. So be happy and rejoyce in what God had made. God did not make the universe thro science, he created science. God is science, just like he is love and time.

Science without God does not exist and God without science cannot make sense.
