There is this guy who I have had a crush on ever since I started high school. It's not for the looks but for the personality. I first met him through his older sister. The guy I like is in the same grade. We started talking once we first met. Now I have known him for over 7 months. I have gotten pretty comfortable being around him. He always likes to make me laugh and loves to challenge me. A few times a week we have tickling wars and he always tries to tickle me. We have held hands a few times during the tickling wars and once even held hands when we weren't. Only for a few seconds though.But after I had first met him he had a "church thing girlfriend". He told me it was only a "church thing" but that was right when I met him. Now he and I flirt more and more everyday. I can't help but wonder if he likes me and doesn't know that I like him or he just thinks of me as a friend. I have tried to hint that I like him and sometimes I think it works and sometimes it doesn't. Does he like me?

tried to reassure you with the church thing by saying it was just a "church thing" - therefore implying that although she was attractive, you are by far more attractive in more than one way and it's YOU who he really wants (i'm excellent in translating guy speak)

Yeah, he likes you. Guys use the tickling thing as an excuse to grab on you when they like you but want to see how you are going to react. Keep the flirt up or just get really brave and ask him out!

try this approach....ask him to his face, especially if u really want to know, then u can take it from there depending on his answer as to how u want this relationship to work or not and if it's what ur hoping for it to be... hopfully he will tell u and feel the same way about u and u can nurtue the friendship from that point

i was in almost the same situation before. he would flirt with me nonstop (including holding hands) and he even kissed me when we werent going out. he never wound up asking me out anyway. i think you should tell him how you feel before its too late and you both lose that spark. trust me if you dont youll regret it.

flirt with him, be a playful one....try to trip him, punch him lightly...do something that gets his attention that you want to date him. this way you can create a good vibe between you and him.
