There is a verse in the Quran that prohibited anyone from marrying prophet Muhammed's widows.

Given that when prophet Muhammed dies he left ELEVEN widows whose ages were as little as 18 years old (some were 20, 23..etc) and given that prophet Muhammad was SIXTY THREE when he dies:

(1) Was there any reason for that verse?
(2) Did not those little women have the right to re-marry and re-enjoy their lives?
(3) Given that they had unstable sexual lives (because he married 11 wives at a time), did not they have the right to have a stable sexual life at the end?

Answer to heading question.
Quran says the Prophet's Wives are the Mothers of the believers:

[33:6] The prophet is closer to the believers than they are to each other, and his wives are their mothers. The relatives ought to take care of one another in accordance with GOD's scripture. Thus, the believers shall take care of their relatives who immigrate to them, provided they have taken care of their own families first. These are commandments of this scripture.

(1.) Prophet's receive great blessing from God. David receieved the Pslams, Solomon could control the wind and understand the communication of animals, Moses' staff turned into a snake. Prophet Jesus was risen up by God from Disbelievers. God bestows great provisions to his Prophets.
And God reveals whatso ever he Wills.

(2.) Read following Quranic Passages:

[33:28] O prophet, say to your wives, "If you are seeking this life and its vanities, then let me compensate you and allow you to go amicably.

[33:29] "But if you are seeking GOD and His messenger, and the abode of the Hereafter, then GOD has prepared for the righteous among you a great recompense."

Special Responsibility

[33:30] O wives of the prophet, if any of you commits a gross sin, the retribution will be doubled for her. This is easy for GOD to do.

[33:31] Any one of you who obeys GOD and His messenger, and leads a righteous life, *******we will grant her double the recompense, and we have prepared for her a generous provision.******

(3.) According to God, which makes it a fact, the next life is like this one, but much, much better. As A Muslima, i do not party, fornicate, or dress provactively because I desire the next life, which will be timeless, forever. Many mono-married people do not have a stable sex life! I'm not going to pursue information on that private matter of marriage, but the Quran advises men to treat the wives equal and provide for them with respect and honor.

PS: Some of Muhammad's wives were elderly. And from Historical accounts, he was a Great Husband to all of his wives. It would be difficult for a man with one wife to be as great of a family man as he.

Peace Be Upon you.

First, you have to check out your wrong information. Prophet Muhammed DID NOT marry 11 wives at a time, he had 4 wives max at a time.
And only one of his wives was as little as 18 years old and others were older so do not speak in what you don't know.
Then, His wives were VERY satisfied in that, no one of them had the tendency to marry after he died and they enjoyed their lives without marriage after him because no one can provide care better than he provided.

Muhammad and Allah are one in the same...Allah had special rules that applied to Muhammad and even had more wives than were allowed others...The God of Abraham did not have people who were exempt from his laws all are equal and all were under the same law...Therfore the God of Abraham can not be the Allah of Islam.

Obviously, God wanted to save them the disappointment.

You see, Muhammad was amazing in the sack... no other man could compare.
