Is Christianity perfect, or WHAT!?

Being a TRUE Christian, I can say exactly how life changes:

It gets 300% better!

Back when I was a sinner, I used to like science, and used to believe in evolution because it just made sense. I also used to sleep around with girlfriends and have all kinds of sinful fun. I could go and watch an R rated movie and not feel guilty and I used to read psychology and philosophy.

BUT all that has changed now! I only read the Bible, because it is TRUTH CONCENTRATE! I am trying to memorize the whole thing, so my brain can be inoculated against all this LOGIC and REASON that satanic atheists keep trying to use against GOD.

I haven't had sex in three years, since I was RESCUED BY JESUS! Of course, I only study creationism now, not science, because everybody knows that Satan uses science.

He uses philosophy and psychology too, so I stopped reading that. It was making my faith weak with all the logic and reason they weilded.

But I know that I can't take a chance on going to Hell! So I gladly refuse to have fun - you know what the Bible says, "Sorrow may endure for a night, but JOY cometh in the morning!" Psalm 30:5

So it doesn't matter that the Christian life sucks a lot, except for a lot of my friends who have done it a lot longer than I have tell me that it gets better because after awhile your brain gets a little numb to the world and all the evil and you are kinda like, "programmed" to get a kinda "high" from Jesus.

I can't wait for my Jesus HIGH!

I am happy for you brother. Dont let the answers here which are so smugly idiotic get you down. This is what you will have to face as a Christian, but just remember Who it is Who backs you up. Also remember what Jesus went through at the hands of small-minded hateful people like some of the posters here.
Actually, Logic and Reason are what brought me to Christ. Once I learned independant (as much as possible with a finite mind) and rational thought, the idea of an orderly obviously designed universe without a Designer started to strike me as being really stupid. Stuff like this does not happen by accident. According to real logic (not the atheistic shallow indoctrination which passes for a lot of "science" these days) there has to be something which started up all this, and there had to be the application of intelligently guided work. Either that, or the universe was started up magically, and that is not very likely.
Most of the TRUE scientists, the ones who founded and continue to push the frontiers of science are believers in God at least. Isaac Newton, Bacon, Nils Bohr, Crooks and the others who observed the laws of science in the first place were believers. It is hard for an open-minded person to see the complex and orderly design of the universe around us and not see that there had to be a Designer behind it. Science was born of people who realized that a Creator would create an orderly universe, with laws knowable to those who look into it. Knowing the laws of science became a way to know God better, according to the true scientists. It is only in recent times that we have gotten all this smug and shallow anti God pseudo-science, which is more doctrinal and small-minded than any Christians ever were.

Science just explains my father and YES its a good feeling, but stop judging my brothers and sisters as satanic! You dont have authority to judge! The bible should be your most important thing you read, but it should not be the only thing. In order to truly love and embrace God, we must endure this life and both its goods and bads. Closing yourslef off from the rest of the world, means that you are worried about being tempted or that you will be influenced by the devil. Know that we must suffer and endure to truly be with God in the end. God bless you!

Umm, no offense, but I kinda feel sorry for you. Do you HONESTLY believe that stuff? It kind of makes you sound like a Stepford Wife, if you get what I mean. Which you probably don't because reading is sinful. Except, of course, for reading the bible. If this is what christian people are like I am glad that I am not christian. I will say this for any Christians reading my answer, when I was a Christian I was miserable and full of hate for myself and others. Plus, I went around like a nutjob preaching at people trying to save their souls. I regret ever having been a Christian because I feel like I wasted a big chunk of my life.

Am I lacking something right here....? all of us (toddlers, people who in no way heard of the bible, etc) need to pass to hell because of the fact a mystical speaking snake confident one lady hundreds of years in the past to consume one fruit? isn't that during straight forward terms a sprint unfair? And what the hell grew to become into incorrect with ingesting the fruit besides? Whats incorrect with awareness of good and evil? Nothing is perfect.... and certainly from what I remember from when I was forced to go to church christianity is far from it.
