I am a Guy, and when I like a girl it is rather simple to tell.

I smile around them
I try to get close to them (not in a sexual way, just to be near them)
I call them randomly and ask them how they are doing and tell them funny things that made me think of them and want to call them
I try to set up time to hang out
I try to act casual even though I may be nervous
I text message them and create cute little games that we play with one another and I try to associate many things with thoughts of me so that they will see things, think of me, smile, and then possibly contact me
I give them compliments often and let them know they are a wonderful person
I offer to help them when they ask, and when they don't
I always do the classic guy things (open doors and such)

I just basically give them they feeling that they are special (both to me and in general) and that I respect them and enjoy being around them.
