me and my friend have been getting close like messing w/ each other between classes, poking each other and stuff like that. well he asked me to go to the movies with him on his birhday at the end of this month. i said i will. but it is a date? or not and he gave me his # today, does he expect me to call him?? i am really bad at this stuff. i need any advice for now and the future. also i am not sure if i like him more then a friend, how do you know?

ok firstly you need to figure out if your attracted to him...do you check him out? ge jealous when he talks to other girls? think about him alot? do you see him as a friend only? have you ever thought of you two being an item? if you answered yes to at least one of these questions you are attracted to him. thing is you probably got accustamed to being his friend and having that kind of relationship with him. now things are a little more serious and your confused as to whether hes your friend or not? and asking yourself do i really have feelings for him...its like moving away you move into a new place obviously you would not feel the same cause its new and wierd to you but soon you get accustamed and comfortable. Listen the only way to know for sure if you have feeling for him go on the date and see if after your feelings towards him are the same or different. also he asked you to the movies doesnt indiacte its a date alot of my guy friends ask me out and believe or not we go like normal friends....but in order to know if it is a date you need to go and see whether it feels like a date or just hanging out...believe me youll know if its a date cause he will treat it like one ....he'll treat you like his girl friend that night and not as a friend..also to know if it is a date, he'll wanna keep you out longer and he'll want to go to places where you two can have privacy...he will not want to spend the entire time in a public place at some point hell want to get you alone,,hell be beating around the bushes asking you personal questions about boyfirends and wat you like in a guy and most of all you ill know the difference you will notice that , that night wont be like all the other times you two hung out.....then if you go home that night and think about him till you fall asleep...thinking about the time you two had then hun you like him...but you need to go in order to know for sure!!!!also how would you know if you like a friend if you have ver known them on a friendly basis...if you two get on another level more than friendship then youll see him more than a friend and may grow feelings for him but the best way to know...does it feel right to you? if not then it is not!!!

I seems like hes putting everything out for u and wants u to make your move. Try to talk to him some more and see where all these messing around is coming from. I think that he likes u but itsnt sure how to quite ask u out as a girlfriend so talk to him alittle more and if u start liking him give him a call and see where it goes. Who knows what will happen at the movies for his birthday! just go with the flow and see where it takes u! Hope I Helped!

Take it easy, take him as a friend first, send him a message if the number was his cellphone, if not, then maybe you can call him about a class homework adns tart from there, go out to the movies, but don´t think of it as a date even if it is, think of it as a wonderful time with a possible wonderful person, relax and enjoy and keep flirting that´s really cool.

I would say go... it sounds like you enjoy his company. If you really wanna know if it's a date or not, then you should ask him, or if you're too afraid, ask one of his friends to see what they think. About his # , I'm sure that if he gave you his number, he probably said 'Call me'. Whether you call him or not is on you. Here's the thing about you not being sure... you'll never know until you know. Chances are though, however you're feeling, is a good indicator of whether you like as more than a friend or not. If you like him and want to be in his presence, I say "Who cares! Let's see what they've got!"
Long story short...go with your gut.

Well. when you are around him do you get butterflies? its kind of up to you to decide if you like him. picture you and him as a couple. how would you feel if you were? would you like it or not? also, dont worry about all the phone calls etc. thats how i used to be. so one dya i called him up. and he was veryyy happy. just call him and tlak about school or random things thta you guys like. And, you dont really know if its a date or not but if this may be him trying to make a move so you guys can move on to a closer relationship. hope this helped.!

If he asks you out, go and have fun. Stop worrying too much about it. But always let him be the first to initiate dates at the beginning. Allow him to capture your heart. Don't call him first. If he calls you, call him back - but don't be the one to initiate anything romantically first.

Well if he gave you his number obviously he wants you to call him. And yeah it does look like he might be interested. If you're not, then don't do anything to lead him on, but also don't be spoil sport and stop hanging out with him or anything. Good luck =]
