When you appear before a magistrates court, how should you address the magistrates? Is it your honour? Or if it is just sir for a man, what is it for a woman?

You should say 'Your Worship' for the first time you address the magistrate, and 'Sir' or 'Madam' thereafter.

With either gender, you would address the presiding magistrate as Your Honor. This is the custom in the USA.
