Well, if your religion is the truth as you beleive it is, Why not some proof, RIGHT?

Please don't tell me about islam, I already know it has proof, this is for all the others who haven't proven themselves to me yet.

hmm, belong to a religion. that's an interesting way of putting it. i have a deep level of spirituality, and practice and live in a way that promotes that spirituality - but i do not "belong" and would not "belong" to a religion. just the notion of the political and and popular meanings of the word religion are enough to make my skin crawl.

spirituality only needs individual proof. spirituality is different for every person and every situation. trying to find complete answers to the important questions sometimes falls short when intelligent people ask them of one religion. i think it is better to make your own way using things that make sense to you.

it is hard to completely prove anything. the table your keyboard sits upon appears to be a solid mass, however it is really insn't. in the age of quantum mechanics, it's hard to doubt that there is something out there, but that it may be different for everyone to interpret.

My religion is Hinduism, and I don't regard it as the only way of formulating truth, but I do believe it is one very good way - which is of course why I'm a Hindu.

The proof of it to me is that it works to bring meaning and joy to people's lives. It's religious practices bring awareness of our relations to the Divine and to our fellow beings, and increase feelings of compassion and devotion within us.

I don't think it needs to be proven "true" so much as proven a workable model. And I think it can be proven as such, along with other religions.

i don't really belong to a religion... i can't even find a label that easily & succinctly describes it, so maybe this Q isn't even applicable to me... oh well

but personally, i don't need proof to believe some of what i do, it just feels right to *me* and probably wouldn't to most people (of course, excluding the scientific & psychological aspects of my beliefs). and i also don't feel the need to prove it to anyone, as i don't really care how it fits anyone else. if someone already holds similar beliefs, that's great; if not, that's great too, as long as my choice to believe what i want is equally respected.

If you think Islam has proof, there's no point in going any further. You're obviously too deluded to converse with rationally.

Have a nice day.

Sorry, Hindus don't evangelise. We don't believe we are invincible either. But a lot of the stuff in our "religion" concerns ways of living which are more philosophy than religion. The ancient Indians figured a lot of stuff out, and just stuck it in religous form to share the benefits with the masses.

b-hole you should not insult the clinically retarded. It's not their fault their God designed them so unintelligently.

My religion offers only the truth of the universe as the universe tells you, we don't proselytize.

Bible Christianity is NOT religion… It’s a LIVING RELATIONSHIP with JESUS CHRIST.

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. (Psalm 118:8)
