No it is not.
The greatest threat to humanity is the people blindly following political rhetoric and being led into snares and fed lies. People must remember that God had given them free wills and that the exercise of this 'free will' is a way to bring glory to God.

In my opinion, YES.
Religion, and the ideals it engenders, are dangerous for one reason....there is no free thinking involved. Virtually all religions EXPECT it's followers to behave in certain ways, or to do certain things, and anything deviating from the "norm" is considered against beliefs.
It is this type of collective that has threatened, and continues to threaten, the ability of nations to move forward in all aspects...mental, physical, and emotional. The crutch that organized religion hands out is nothing more than a pipe dream, and prevents human kind from doing what's right, rather than what's expected.

I think religion can be a great thing because it unites people and gives them something to believe in. It's also a way to be social for many people.
However, when it gets out of control is when one religion wouldn't accept/respect another's beliefs and feels the need to fight them about it.
If we all respected one another, it would be fine. Unfortunately, we do not.

Yes, it is. Because humanity is made of sin, based on sin, founded on sin, and religion - or more specifically, the Christian faith - is a very dire threat to sin.
As a Christian, I can grin while saying that.

Yes.
Think about it........ Major wars, large amounts of people persecuted and killed, have all revolved around religion.
The Crusades.
The Holy Wars
The holocaust.
9/11.
ALL about something intangible, rooted in nothing but blind faith.
Threat? More like a sick reality.

You know what, I think it might actually be PDA's or whatever you call those things that people take to mean they should be available 24/7.
Or....wait for it ..... control tops! They're actually more a threat to my comfort, but whatever.
